Privacy Policy
Effective September 18, 2026 · Includes California privacy notice
This policy explains how RentReadyAppliance handles information collected through this website, rental applications, and vendor applications.
Application progress measurement
We use a random, temporary browser-session identifier to measure the first page visited (homepage or application), the furthest application stage reached, and general upload or submission errors. This measurement does not include form answers, document information, full URLs, or session recordings, and is not sent to Meta. If checkout is started, its record can be linked to this identifier so our server can count a confirmed payment. Staff see aggregate counts. Progress records older than 30 days are excluded from reports and removed when new progress events are processed. Global Privacy Control and the opt-out below disable new browser progress events; necessary payment processing continues.
Information we collect and why
Rental applications collect name, email, phone number, delivery address, housing and appliance details, requested timeframe, notes, a driver’s license image, and your age and Terms confirmation. We use these to review applications, match service coverage, communicate with you, and coordinate with rental providers. We no longer ask for a separate date of birth or paystub; a license image may still contain a birth date, license number, and other sensitive details. Older applications may contain information collected under the earlier form.
Vendor applications collect business and contact details, service coverage, pricing, equipment, rental policies, and installation availability. We use these to review partnerships and match applications. We also maintain submission times, application references, consent records, and operational records.
Website and advertising information
Our hosting services process technical information needed to operate and protect the website. We record referral and campaign information submitted with an application. Our Meta Pixel sends public-page views and an event after a rental application saves successfully. Meta may receive browser and device identifiers, IP address, cookies, page URLs, and event information for advertising measurement. We do not include application fields, uploaded documents, or document contents in our pixel event payloads. Automatic pixel form collection is disabled.
Who receives information
Authorized RentReadyAppliance staff and service providers supporting hosting, storage, security, and operations process information as needed. We share relevant application details with a matched rental provider to fulfill your request. Documents are stored separately and downloaded through staff-authenticated access. Meta receives the advertising information described above. We may disclose information when required by law or to address fraud, security, or legal claims. Providers are responsible for their own agreements and privacy practices.
Membership and payments
The general member option includes a $5/month Stripe subscription and $60/month provider rental; new DFW requests include a $15/month Stripe membership and $60/month provider rental ($75/month total) after a 7-day free membership trial; Austin includes a $10/month Stripe subscription and $45/month provider rental. New Oklahoma City requests are $70/month total for a washer-and-dryer set ($60 provider rental plus $10 RentReady membership), or $50/month total for a washer only or electric dryer only ($40 provider rental plus $10 membership), after a 7-day free membership trial. No membership or delivery payment is due at signup for new DFW or Oklahoma City requests. The provider separately bills appliance rental from installation. Earlier DFW and Oklahoma City bookings keep their accepted payment and trial terms. New Orlando requests are $65/month total: $5 paid today is the first month of a $5/month Stripe membership, and the local provider separately bills $60/month for appliance rental from installation. General, Austin, new DFW, and new Oklahoma City memberships begin with a 7-day free trial. New Orlando memberships and earlier first-month-paid DFW and Oklahoma City memberships have no free trial. The provider bills appliance rental separately. The general and Austin nonmember offers require a one-time delivery payment ($25 for the general form or $40 for Austin). Earlier DFW Standard bookings retain their $40 delivery fee and accepted terms. Earlier Oklahoma City and Orlando Standard bookings keep their original one-time delivery payments and accepted terms. Stripe collects the contact and payment details you enter in its checkout and customer portal. We retain checkout, customer, and subscription references, billing status, trial dates, and your membership consent to associate billing with the correct application. We do not send application answers or identification documents to Stripe or Meta. Application information is securely staged before checkout so it can be submitted after Stripe confirms signup or payment, even if you close the checkout page. Earlier one-time booking payments remain associated with their original applications.
Retention and security
Retention depends on application review, an ongoing rental or partnership, dispute resolution, and legal recordkeeping needs. Ask us to review deletion of records we no longer need. We use restricted staff access and separate document storage; no website or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Do not put unnecessary sensitive information in free-text notes.
California privacy notice
Depending on applicable law and whether RentReadyAppliance is subject to the CCPA/CPRA, California residents may have rights to know and access personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. Exceptions may apply. You may use an authorized agent, and we may need to verify identity or authority for record requests. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
The categories we collect include identifiers and contact details, customer records, commercial/rental information, internet activity and advertising identifiers, and sensitive information contained in identification documents. Sources are you, your browser, and providers involved in your application. The purposes and recipients are described above. Meta advertising disclosures may constitute “sharing” under California law even when no money is exchanged. We use identification documents for application review, not advertising. The application is for adults 18 and older.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Opt out of Meta advertising tracking on this browser. We also honor Global Privacy Control. This choice does not stop processing needed for your application or requested provider matching.
This preference applies to this browser. Use it again on other devices or after clearing browser storage. Requests concerning your records can be made using the contact method below.
We honor Global Privacy Control by preventing our Meta Pixel from initializing or sending events. Other legacy Do Not Track signals do not change site behavior. Necessary application processing continues. Opting out does not delete information already received by Meta; contact us for requests about records we control.
Contact and privacy requests
Email jacoboneill2333@gmail.com with your question or request to access, correct, delete, or limit use of your information. Include enough information to locate your request, such as your reference number or the email you used. Do not email your license image or other sensitive documents. We may follow up to verify a record request. For an agent request, explain your authorization. Browser advertising opt-outs above do not require identity verification.
